Conference Bucharest, May 8, 2025

Today, the students had Dragos Stoica, Executive Director of Porsche Inter Auto, as a guest. The students had the opportunity to discuss the marketing plan, how they can organize their objectives considering the characteristics of the client and why it’s critical to know the features of their products and services. The meeting was fruitful for all participants, Dragos promising that he will come to the students again to discuss issues that they consider important for a future economist.


Conference Bucharest, May 28, 2025

In this Conference we had the pleasure to have as guest speaker Ms Amalia Stefan, Lead of Hotel Division from Alexandrion Group. She presented Alexandrion Group as the largest producer and distributor of spirits and wines in Romania. The Group owns Alexandrion Distilleries and the Iconic Estate Winery. Alexandrion Group is headquartered in Romania and has representative offices in Greece, Cyprus, Brazil and the United States. She also presented the challenges and opportunities the company had in 2017, as the group of companies began its global expansion by opening a global operations office in Cyprus and an office in Brazil. It later acquired a majority stake in V.M. Cavaway Ltd., which is primarily engaged in the marketing and distribution of alcoholic beverages. Other challenges and opportunities are considered as Alexandrion Group is currently building a distillery in New York (U.S.A.), an investment of 100 million USD.


Conference Bucharest, June 2nd 2025

In the Conference on June 2nd 2025, the students had the opportunity to discuss with Rodica Lazar, CEO of Grafex, a manufacturer of sealing products for French nuclear powerplants. The seminar address topics related to managing the logistics chain in the context of clients and suppliers that are activating in multiple states and how to manage production according to lean manufacturing principles. Conference Bucharest, June 6, 2025

On June 6, a conference was held in Bucharest, at the Buchaest University of Economic Studies, where Mihaela Poenaru, Human Resource Manager at Magnor, a Romanian company with rapid expansion in recent years presented opportunities and threats related to a career in a globalized market and how to build a career as a young student at an economic university. We thank the participants for their interest!
