Iulia Jianu is a Full Professor Ph.D., Accounting at the Bucharest University of Economic Studies (ASE) The Faculty of Accounting and Management Information Systems (CIG), Accounting and Audit Department. Since 2020 she is an Associate Professor at the International Institute of Management, Conservatoire National des Arts et Metiers de Paris (CNAM), France. From 2018-at present she is a PhD Coordinator, Accounting and Audit Department, The Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Romania. Previously she was Vice-dean of Bucharest Business School, Program Director of the Romanian-French INDE MBA Program organised by Conservatoire National des Arts et Metiers de Paris, France, in cooperation with the Bucharest University of Economic Studies, Romania 2013-2019, Program Manager for Romania of the European Post-Master Accountancy program organised by Tilburg University in collaboration with the Bucharest University of the Economic Studies and University of Valencia 2012-2016, Member of the Senate of the Bucharest University of the Economic Studies. She is a member of several professional bodies such as: Académie des Etudes et Techniques Comptable et Financière (AETCF) Association Francophone de Comptabilité (AFC) International Association of Accounting and Educational Research (IAAER) European Accounting Association (EAA) Asociaţia Română de Contabilitate (ARC).
