The start of the Project “Management in a Virtual World” was hosted by the coordinator Süleyman Demirel Üniversity on 11-12 June 2024 in Isparta, Turkey. University of Sannio (Italy), Bucharest University of Economic Studies (BUES, Romania), Gdansk University of Technology (Poland) and Polytechnic of Porto (ISCAP, Portugal) attended the K-o-M. An Opening Cocktail was held in Adem Efe Conference Hall of Süleyman Demirel University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. The coordinator Prof. Dr. Aygen OKSAY made an opening speech. She mentioned the starting point of the Project and the main aims of the Project. Prof. Dr. Hakan Mehmet KİRİŞ, the Dean of Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and the Vice Rectorate Prof. Dr. Mehmet GENÇTÜRK underlined the fact how projects are important for the universities and that the management will be supporting the projects in every aspect. The cocktail ended with the speeches of the partners and the project sessions started. The main aims of the project, the milestones, the responsibilities of the project were shared with the partners and the dates of the TPM’s were cleared. The simulation, which will be used as an educational tool during the project, was explained and the task distribution was done.
