She has been working in Suleyman Demirel University, Turkey since 2008. She received her B.Sc. Tourism Guidance and M.Sc. in Tourism Management from Balikesir University (Turkey) in 2005 and Afyon Kocatepe University 2010 respectively. She received her Ph.D. in Business Administration from Suleyman Demirel University in 2014. Bulgan has expertise in national and international projects and her areas of interest are disability tourism, alternative tourism, hotel management and tourism economics.
